MOTORS
[Top of Page]
Parker high and low speed
hydraulic motors provide power up to 5,900 inch-pounds of torque for excellent
performance with high efficiency, true wear compensations and longer service
life.
TORQLINK SERIES
Small & Large Frame Low Speed High Torque
-
The producers of Parker
Hannifin's Torqlink ä Series
motors have a history of manufacturing reliable, precision parts that stretches
back over ninety years. Milestones include the first patent on roller vane
rotor sets for low speed, high torque hydraulic motors. That was thirty years
ago. Today the technological advances continue.
TA Series -
Compact Power in an Economical Package
use of a shaft speed disc valve allows Parker's TA Series motors to pack 2700
ins lb of torque into less than six inches of length. These low cost motors
contain many features normally not found in motors of this type.
TB Series -
A General Purpose Motor with Advanced
Technology
features are built into this multi-purpose motor that assure
long, trouble free life. The power element contains roller vanes. Splines and
seals are cooled. The drivetrain utilizes patented spline geometry and produces
up to 4642 ins lb of torque.
TD Series -
The Ultimate in Performance from a Small Frame
Motor
Parker's TD Series motor provides all that could be expected of a
general purpose motor and more. Patented 60:40 spline geometry provides
drivetrain strength for severe applications. Roller vanes and sealed orbit
commutation assure high volumetric efficiency and smooth low speed operation.
Produces up to 4768 in lbs of torque.
NICHOLS
STRAIGHT SHAFT MOTORS

Solid, Straight Shaft Low Speed High
Torque Hydraulic Motors -
Parker's
Nichols Series motors are designed using a patented third generation of power
elements for obit-type low speed, high torque motors, the IGRä . The technological advances of
the IGRä design allow
our customers to design machines that will work faster with the same horsepower
due to the higher efficiency.
110A Series -
This high performance motor contains a power
element that is pressure loaded against internal leakage for high volumetric
efficiency. It is wear compensated, so that its volumetric efficiency will not
degrade with use. It can provide up to 7247 in lbs of torque through a
one-piece solid fixed axis shaft. This shaft design allows for full stationary
spline contact between shaft and rotor, minimizing spline contact stresses. It
also allows the shaft to be extended through the rear cover for mounting
parking brakes, auxiliary drive functions or encoders for speed readout or
closed loop control. This rugged motor is the most compact on the
market.
130S Series -
This motor utilizes the unique Stardriveä powertrain and heavy roller
bearings for tough applications involving high inertia loads, frequent
reversals, chain and sprocket drives or other severe applications. Its solid,
fixed axis shaft allows full stationary spline contact between the shaft and
the power element for low spline stresses. The shaft can also be brought
through the back cover for mounting a brake, encoder or auxiliary drive
function. The unique IGRä power element utilizes system pressure to seal against internal
leakage for high volumetric efficiency. This design also allows the power
element to compensate for wear, resulting in no degradation of volumetric
efficiency over the life of the motor. Provides up to 7247 in lbs of
torque.
110A Wheel Motor Series -
Heavy side load capacity in a compact package.
Designed with bearings to support the weight of a vehicle or resist other heavy
side loads, these motors will deliver up to 6645 in lbs of torque in 4.6 inches
of length. System pressure seals the power element against internal leakage for
high volumetric efficiency. The unique IGRä power element also self
compensates for wear, assuring no deterioration of volumetric efficiency over
the life of the motor. The shaft is of solid, one-piece, fixed axis design,
allowing full stationary spline contact between the shaft and the rotor.
120A Wheel Motor Series -
Bearing capacity for heavy side loads in a
highly efficient motor. Tapered roller bearings capable of side loads up to
4400 lb make this compact motor excellent as a wheel drive which must support a
heavy vehicle or withstand other severe side loads. Incorporating a unique
Stardriveä
powertrain, its solid, one-piece shaft allows
full stationary spline contact between the power element and shaft, eliminating
high spline contact stresses. This solid shaft can also be extended through the
back cover for mounting a brake or auxiliary drive function. The power element
also utilizes Parker's self sealing IGRä design.
700/716 Two Speed Motor Series
-
High efficiency, high flow two-speed motor.
Parker's patented two-speed motor utilizes two separate IGR power elements on a
common shaft. An integral selector valve shifts between high torque, low speed
(parallel) operation and high speed, low torque (series) mode in a ratio of
2:1. The use of two power elements eliminates the deficiencies of traditional,
one power element designs. In the high torque mode, the motor delivers twice
the torque and half the speed that it does in the high speed mode. The selector
valve can be open or closed center and may be actuated by an external pilot or
optional solenoid valve.
310 Series -
A rugged motor for high torque, high side load.
The 310 Series motor combined a high efficiency IGRä orbit motor with a tough 4.1 to
1 planetary gear reducer for an integral package to suit the most severe
applications. With torque capabilities to 15000 lb in, this motor can withstand
side loads to nearly 8000 lb. Ideal for wheel drives and heavy industrial
applications.
NE
Series
Solid, Straight Shaft Low Speed High
Torque Hydraulic Motors -
A compact motor for severe
applications that produces up to 7247 lb in torque. This motor provides the
rugged StarDriveä
power element in the shortest possible package. A solid, one piece shaft
provides low drivetrain spline stresses. The rotor is over 30% stronger than
previous IGR models. The combined result is a motor suited to the toughest
applications involving rapid reversals, high inertia loads and where space is
at a premium.
