RG Group Acquires Powertech Hydraulics
Powertech, a full line Parker mobile technology center operating in New England and the Mid Atlantic United States, is now a division of the RG Group. Lars Nilsson was named the President and General Manager of the Powertech Division of the RG Group. In addition, Mr. Nilsson takes on the responsibilities of the newly formed position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Mobile Hydraulics of the RG Group.

Powertech will continue to operate out of its headquarters in Mahwah, New Jersey and to operate its three Parker stores in New Jersey and New York and plans for any staff reduction.

Mr. Nilsson indicated that Powertech was excited about joining the RG Group and gaining access to increased capabilities for the new division, especially in marketing and value added engineering systems manufacturing, power unit manufacturing, cylinder repair and manufacturing that the RG Group provides from its Flour Mill facility in York Pa. Randy Gross, RG Group CEO, indicated that the RG Group was excited about Powertech providing new products, services and customers and a superior and talented workforce in the New York, Northern New Jersey and New England markets. The RG Group is especially excited about the very well equipped hydraulic pump and motor repair operations in Mahwah, New Jersey. In addition, Mr. Gross indicated that the RG Group has been increasing their focus on Parker retail stores.

RG Group Acquires Air Hydraulic Sales
Air Hydraulic Sales, a pneumatic and automation focused distributor located in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, is now a division of the RG Group. Bill McMullin, Air Hydraulic General Manager, indicated that Air Hydraulic Sales is excited about joining the RG Group and gaining access to increased capabilities for the new division, especially in marketing, value added engineering systems and electromechanical motion and control solutions. This new resource for system engineering and fabrication is housed in a newly renovated distribution and manufacturing facility in York Pa.

Randy Gross, RG Group CEO, indicated that the RG Group was excited about Air Hydraulic Sales established market presence giving RG Group a deeper penetration of pneumatic automation and hydraulic products and services in the greater Philadelphia market. Gross said this acquisition will complete another important step in our strategic plan of becoming a dominant motion control provider of solutions in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast part of the United States. We have decided our industry is ripe for and needs to consolidate and we "will be one of those consolidators".

The RG Group can FAX your invoices
The RG Group has automated many of its accounting processes. One of the new features in this plan is to eliminate the mailing of your invoices. This involves an automated electronic FAX solution, after regular business hours, which allows us to send your invoices directly to your unattended FAX machine.

This system will benefit us both by reducing the amount of time required to move paper. Your invoices will be delivered directly to your fax machine, eliminating the need to open envelopes and move documents. Additionally, invoices lost in the mail will no longer be an issue. Finally, if you require more than one copy of an invoice to be faxed to your company, we can accommodate your needs.
