Update on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

March 18, 2020

To our valued Customers:

We are living in interesting and challenging times. Like all businesses, RG Group is daily monitoring the developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Our core values are always to put the safety and health of our customers, our associates and our communities first! We also realize that your business must deal with changing and challenging economic environment in the future. Please consider us as your partner. Our goal is to remain a trusted value-added service provider. Your ability to have immediate access to the broad range of RG Group global products and manufacturing services are essential in this time of need and challenge. We’ve implemented a contingency plan that ensures we can remotely service our customers using information technology, cross training of associates, and stock availability at multiple locations. This will be helpful in the event that any of our locations would need to close. As things change and we know they will, our promise to you is to communicate and update you as things evolve.

Retail locations and Manufacturing Services

Our branch managers provide on-demand world-class service, support and hose repair to our customers, both at our branch locations and in your facilities. At this time, we intend to continue our on-site installation and Branch services. Should changing conditions prevent our service technicians or our sales associates from accessing your facility, please keep in mind that that we can drop ship MRO supplies to restock your Manufacturing location. All RG Group Branches can ship material and provide troubleshooting via the web or the phone. Our major manufacturing centers in York, Pennsylvania and in Ona, West Virginia will remain open and committed to meeting your needs in the short term and for the foreseeable future. If we can help you in any way please let us know, we are all in this together and we will come back stronger than ever.

Associates

The safety and wellbeing our team is critical to us. We have asked all associates to follow best practices from the CDC and WHO with respect to hand washing, sneezing and coughing, staying home when sick and self-quarantining in the event of travel to an affected area. We are encouraging associates to use technology to connect with customers and each other. We’ve implemented additional cleaning protocols and reinforced CDC guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19 at all of our locations. We are following the CDC’s Traveler’s Health Notices and advising our employees accordingly. In addition to the CDC travel guidelines, we have instituted a strict review and approval process for work-related travel to ensure we do not put employees or customers at risk.

Clearly, the situation remains dynamic and the guidance for it changes daily. As the COVID-19 outbreak develops, we will implement whatever additional social distancing measures become necessary to protect our associates and our customers.

Supply Chain

Our many global brands and strategic vendor partner make it is impossible to have definitive guarantees about product availability from every company we source from. However, our purchasing department is proactively reaching out to our suppliers for lead time updates and will communicate those in real-time on our quotes. We are working closely with our vendors to monitor COVID-19 implications on our overall supply chain. So far we have not received notice from any major supplier of anticipated shortages of our primary products. Many of our suppliers have alternative sources and have already implemented tactics to keep production moving. In the event that we receive information that a shortage or delay will occur, we will promptly contact customers that may be impacted. We are also contacting our major vendors to understand their contingency plans should there be a major supply chain disruption. In that event, we will post the information on our website

At this point, we are focused on prevention and preparedness. We will continue to monitor guidance from the CDC, the WHO, OSHA and regular news organizations. Any additional changes to our business practices will be posted on our website and emailed to you.

If you have specific questions or require additional documentation, please contact our customer service team at [email protected] or call 877-870-2692.

Please stay safe and as always, we appreciate your business!

Regards,

Rich
